Help / A Book button on your website

A Book button on your website

Add a Book button to your own website that takes people straight to your linkz.io page.

Every plan

Free and Pro both have it.

If you already have a website, a Book button on it sends people to your linkz.io page, where they can see your next free time and book. The button is in your page’s colours.

Make the button

  1. Open Codes and print. On a phone, it’s in the tabs at the bottom, or under More.
  2. Find Add a Book button to your website. The button shows how it will look.
  3. Change Button words if you like. It starts as “Book with” and your name.
  4. Choose Copy the code or Copy the link. You’ll see “Copied”.

The code is a plain link with its look built in. It has no script and nothing else to load. The link ends in `?ref=site`, which marks it as coming from your website. It doesn’t change what people see.

Use the link in a button you already have

This works in almost any website builder. Add a button, then paste the link as its web address.

  • Wix: select a button, choose the Link icon, pick Web address, paste the link and choose Done.
  • Squarespace: add a Button block, choose attach link, and paste the link under URL.
  • WordPress: add a Buttons block and type your words. Select the button, choose the Link icon, paste the link into Search or type URL and press Enter.

Use the code

Paste the code where your builder takes HTML. Look for a block called HTML, Code or Custom HTML.

  • WordPress: add a Custom HTML block, choose Edit HTML, paste the code and choose Update. A link is one of the tags every WordPress.com plan keeps.
  • Wix and Squarespace: each has an HTML or code block. Its name and place change from time to time, so search their help for “embed HTML” or “code block”. If it’s easier, use the link method above.

If your builder removes the colours from the code, use the link method instead.
