Invoices
Send a client a link to pay your invoice, by card or bank transfer.
(Pro)
Invoices come with Pro. Card payments need Stripe or Square connected in Payments.
Make your invoice the way you always do, then send it from linkz.io. Your client gets their own link to pay. We never hold the money and never take a cut.
Send one
- Open Invoices.
- Under New invoice, fill in Client’s name, Client’s email, Invoice number and Amount.
- If you like, add a Link to the invoice from Xero, QuickBooks or FreeAgent, and a Note for your client.
- Leave Email it to them now ticked to send it straight away.
- Choose Create invoice.
Your client’s link shows the amount, a card button and your bank details, with your invoice number as the reference.

Take cards
In Payments, under Which button uses which, choose Stripe or Square for Invoices. When a card payment goes through, the invoice is marked paid and we email you.
Keep track
Your invoices lists each one with whether it’s paid, and the total still to pay. For an open invoice:
- Copy pay link to send it your own way.
- Email it, or Email it again.
- Mark paid when it’s paid by bank transfer.
- Withdraw to stop its pay link working.
The button on your page
Once you’ve made an invoice, your page can show Pay an invoice. Clients find theirs with the invoice number and their email. If the button isn’t showing, open Page, tick Pay an invoice under How do people pay you? and press Save.
