Questions and answers
What does it cost?
The free plan is free, for as long as you like. Pro is £12 a month or £120 a year. Team is £29 a month for five diaries, and £5 a month for each one after that. Prices in other currencies are on our pricing page. Nothing is charged during the private beta.
What do founding members get?
The first 500 people to confirm a name on the waiting list pay a founding price for Pro: £8 a month or £80 a year, for as long as their Pro subscription continues without a break. To get it, start Pro within 90 days of the day paid plans open. We'll email you that day.
Where does the money go?
Straight into your own account. When paid plans open, you connect your own Stripe or Square account and your customers pay you through it. We never hold your money and we never take a cut of what your customers pay you. On the free plan, your page can show "pay on the day" and your bank transfer details.
What do you see of my diary?
Only when you're busy: the start and end times. We never read, keep or show the titles, people, places or notes of your appointments. You can disconnect your diary at any time.
Who owns my customer list?
You do. During the beta your customers contact you directly, so we don't receive their details at all. When bookings come through your page, Pro keeps a customer list for you: it stays yours, kept apart from every other business's, and you can export it at any time.
What happens to my printed codes if I change things?
Nothing bad. Every code points at a linkz.io address, and you can change where it goes whenever you like, so a sticker printed today still works next year. If you ever close your account, your codes show a short page saying you've moved on, with any forwarding link you leave us, rather than an error.
Can I use my own web address?
Yes, on Pro.
I already use a booking system. Do I need to switch?
No. Your linkz page can point to the booking system you already use, and adds the things it doesn't do: one link for everything, the van sticker and the codes you can change after printing.
Is it safe?
Everything is held by Cloudflare, encrypted when stored and when sent, and your diary access is encrypted again with a key of its own. There are no passwords to steal: you sign in with a link we email you. The full detail is in our Privacy notice.
How do I leave?
Close your account from your settings, or write to hello@linkz.io. Your page comes down straight away, and your account, content and diary connection are deleted within 30 days. Your name stays unused for twelve months, so nobody lands on a stranger's page by mistake.
Who is behind linkz.io?
linkz.io is a trading name of Ian Sharpe, a sole trader based in England. Write to hello@linkz.io and you'll get an answer from a person.
