Moving or canceling a booking
Every booking comes with a link your customer can use to move or cancel it, within your rules.
Every plan (Pro)
Customers can cancel any booking from their link. Moving to another time is for bookings made straight into your diary {pro}.
Each customer gets an email with a link to their booking. From it they can change their plans without calling you.
What your customer sees
- Add to my calendar
- Move to another time: they pick a new free time and choose Move my booking.
- Cancel: they choose Yes, cancel it, or Keep my booking if they change their mind.
Moving is for bookings made straight into your diary. A booking request you accepted can be canceled from the link, but not moved. To change its time, the customer gets in touch with you.

Your rules
Set these in Bookings, under Changes and cancellations.
- Customers can move a booking up to: choose from Any time before to A week before.
- If they cancel after that: choose You keep the deposit or The deposit is refunded.
After your cut-off, the link stops offering a move. It tells the customer it’s too close, and to get in touch from your page. They can still cancel until the booking starts, and your deposit rule decides whether they get it back. See Deposits.
When a customer moves or cancels, we email you. On Pro, the booking in your diary changes too.
Canceling yourself
- Open Bookings and find the booking under Coming up.
- Choose Cancel and confirm.
We email the customer. Any deposit is refunded from your own account.
