Use a private calendar link
Connect any calendar that gives you a private iCal address.
Every plan
Many calendars can give you a private address (it starts with https:// or webcal://) that lets an app read your busy times. It works with almost any calendar.
- Get your calendar’s private address:
- Google Calendar (on a computer): Settings, choose your calendar under Settings for my calendars, then Integrate calendar, and copy the Secret address in iCal format.
- Outlook on the web: Settings, Calendar, Shared calendars. Under Publish a calendar, choose your calendar and Can view when I’m busy, publish it, and copy the ICS link.
- Apple iCloud: use Connect Apple Calendar instead. iCloud’s only shareable link is public.
- In linkz.io, open Connections.
- On the Any other calendar card, choose Connect, paste the address into Private iCal address, then choose Connect again.

Keep the address to yourself. Anyone who has it can read that calendar. If it ever gets out, make a new one in your calendar and connect again.
If it doesn’t work
- “That address does not give a calendar.” Use the iCal or ICS address, not the web page address.
- “We could not reach that calendar.” Check you copied all of it.
